TO OUR VALUED AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS and FAMILIES

In response to the Covid-19 virus outbreak, the Government of Ontario had declared a State of Emergency and had mandated the closures of some businesses. As of May 26, 2020, professional health services have been accomodated to resume services.  This includes Physiotherapy and Massage services.  Active Stride Therapy is now once again re-opened.  We are now providing Physiotherapy services for all care, essential and non-essential by appointment and with reduced hours.  As a measure, Public Health Canada has strongly encouraged the use of widespread social distancing in all public settings and closures.

Active Stride Therapy as a health care facility has strived to operate in a safe and healthy environment to provide health care services. We will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our patients and our staff.  The following measures are implemented to protect your health, safety and well-being while attending Active Stride Therapy.:

-First entering clinic: when you first enter our clinic, you will have access to hand sanitizer, and complete a screening of any Covid-19 symptoms,  as well clients will be screened via telephone prior to the first Physiotherapy session for any symptoms,  please inform us if you have traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days, 

-Physical Distancing Measures:  floor markings will remind clients of spacing between yourself and others, client appointments will be stagnated to prevent overlap of multiple clients, masks or face coverings are required to be worn by clients, protective equipment including face masks will be used by staff,

-All-day disinfection:   maintaining disinfection protocols of all surfaces including wiping all door handles, light switches, chairs and arm rests, floors, counters, tables, coat hooks, therapeutic equipment, all client rooms will be disinfected after each session, sanitary products will be available throughout the clinic for client use to promote a germ free environment,

-Contact-less payments:  we offer direct billing for your insurance company, or contact less payments,                                                                      We want you to know that we will use our professional judgement to determine what services you may require. Your well-being is our priority.  If you are still unable to attend to our clinic we offer virtual appointments and over the phone consultations, if needed.  Please call our office or email info@activestridetherapy.com for more information.
